Let Me Love You

A story about a boy become a man

Afraid to tell a girl about his simple plan

All about how I want to be the one

While making you smile like the noon-day sun

Companionship from you is all I require

No need to get bogged down in sexual mire

I feel drawn to you in the strangest of ways

You are something that can't be erased in a drunken haze

You have not a clue that this is about you

I couldn't let these thoughts of mine sit and stew

For you I've written them out for all to see

Everything I hide, for you it won't be

So please read this message from a silly boy

To me you're not just another little toy

My intentions are noble, my intentions are pure

If you like I can give you the keys to unlock my doors

Into my inner sanctum you may go

A place so rarely tread upon it is made of the freshest snow

If I let you in will you promise not to leave?

The deep recesses of my heart is a place for only you to be

If you see my other side, don't break it

These bonds of trust aren't my common fit

All in all, these lines can be simplified

Let me be yours with an unbreakable tie

I won't break it not even when I die

Let me love you while you love me

Take one more chance and let your eyes see
